Forgive me, Tumblr, for I have sinned
On the way home from school I stopped at Taco Bell. It didn’t put me way over on calories, fat, and carbs, but it was over, and not the best of choices.
Oh well. It was good and proves I need to be better prepared on school nights.
I know that there are at least 12 of you who will be glad that this mo-fo is...

At school. Reading for the small paper due tonight. Supper sandwich already eaten.
Don’t want to be here. Would rather be…well, anywhere really. But, the school does have more comfy chairs on the first floor than we have at home.
Ok, so no run/walk today
Not only did I sign over 2 checks equal to my checking account balance, but it took so long to do so that I don’t have time to my walk and still get to class on time.
Crap.
Still waiting
Trying to turn in applications should not be this difficult.
Really?
Why isn't stupidity painful?
It should be. Then people would be less likely to make me come look for something they swear they looked for and just don’t have. It would also keep me from finding it, right where it’s supposed to be, where you swear you looked. And, even better, there were 3 of them there.

Life Lessons from Dr. Jones →
runningwithguts:

If you don’t know this about me yet, you should: I absolutely love Indiana Jones. He was partially my inspiration for getting a second major in anthropology. He’s also my one agreed-upon “freebie” with Mr. B. (Just to clarify, it is Indiana Jones NOT Harrison Ford.)
I love Indy. I love all things Indy-related. I’m a total Indiana Jones nerd. And I’m darn proud of...

Would it be wrong?
If I went to bed at 7:30?
Sometimes I’m not sure if I’m 34 or 134.
Brushes the mess on my head a little and went to the store. Bought stuff to make a salad for supper instead of the hot dogs an chips my parents were having. Sliced up some deli turkey and added some shredded cheddar, fat free ranch.
Still a little hungry, but waiting to see what happens once things settle down.
Daily Weight
11/27 - 225.2
11/28 - 226.4
11/29 - 225.2
I can handle that.
@lifetoat and Sara
I’ve been on Spark before. I think the calorie limit is a little low for me - and I’m trying to do what was suggested when I had my RMR and VO2 tested last week. I’m “supposed” to eat around 2200 - 2400 calories a day, but I don’t know how to break that down.
Sara - I’ll check that one out.

Someone please create a food plan for me
Because obviously I can’t do it myself.
How much fat should I be eating? How many carbs? How much protein?
Ugh.
No will power. No desire. No drive. Grrrr.

That was the blandest pot roast ever.
Now, I really want a cookie. I won’t get one, but I want one.

We desperately need new living room furniture. Our recliner is falling apart, the loveseat is over 20 years old. It all hurts my hips to sit on.
Looking at different websites at furniture. WHY is it so expensive??

@Mr. Smit
At least we split it between us and neither of us got the whole thing.

Today's workout
Went to the gym when I got up, did some strength training. Not as much as I should have, but my arms were still sore from Friday’s pole dancing class. I did manage to deadlift 165#, though! I only did it once, but I did it!
After that, I hit the pool for a little bit. 250 yards in 13 minutes. I’m a little frustrated. I think I’m going to have to check into Total Immersion...

Home
Car is deposited at the shop, the tow-truck driver is paid, and I’m fixing to put my butt in bed.

2 liters of water in
And now they’re making a 2 liter puddle under the front of the car. Wonderful.
Gonna have it towed and have my mom cone get me.
@Katy
Believe it or not, the two incidents have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
We went to the pole dancing class and had a blast. Then, on the way home, I thought I’d stop and get a diet DP at McDonald’s.
While digging in my purse for an extra quarter, I accidentally stabbed my thumb with a scalpel. What? Doesn’t everybody keep surgical instruments in their purse?
...
Sitting in a gas station parking lot
Waiting for the car engine to cool down enough to add water and hoping I’ve applied enough pressure to make my thumb stop bleeding.
What a wonderful end to the night.
Tonight, we learn to pole dance
Can I put that in my online dating profile? Would it help, you think?
A group of us bought a Living Social deal for 2 pole dance classes. Our first is tonight.
If it doesn’t help the dating or exercise, maybe I can use it to make race money?

The next 12 weeks
I went yesterday after work and had my VO2 and RMR tested.
That was an interesting experience. The guy took all my info - age, date of birth, current weight, height, blah blah blah. Then, he fitted me with a mask that had 2 openings, one for air in and one for air out. The mask was hooked to the machine that actually measured the oxygen in my breath. Just sitting in the chair was how the...
90 minute massage after work today, 2 hour anti-money laundering lecture this evening.
Tomorrow, I get to go without caffeine and fast after 11am so that, at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon, I can have my VO2 max and RMR tested. Found a place closer that would do them both for waaaaay cheaper than the other one I looked at.
It’ll be nice to know exactly how many calories I burn and exactly how...

Just an FYI
REI currently has their Camelbak’s on sale for 25% off.
Also picked up a hideous (but attention getting) cycling jersey for $20.
